  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Object of the Game ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. On the left side of the main window you can see some mathematical equations, in 
  5. which the digits are replaced by symbols. Each symbol accords to a different 
  6. digit. It is your task to find out, which digit corresponds to which symbol. 
  7.  
  8. On the right side the ten symbols are listed together with a row of buttons 
  9. labeled 0 to 9. With these buttons you can enter the solution you suggest. 
  10. Click a button with the the right mouse-button to select a digit for a symbol. 
  11. The symbol in the equation will be raplaced by this digit. 
  12.  
  13. The buttons also help you to solve the quiz. If you can exclude, that a symbol 
  14. is not a specified digit, click on the corresponding key with the left 
  15. mouse-button. The label of the key will be deleted. 
  16.  
  17. If you did a mistake, you can correct yourself by clicking a key a second time. 
  18. The button is labeled again with the corresponding digit. If you want to 
  19. rebuild a whole row, use the function in the Cheat-Menu.

  21. When you click the first button, the time-display in the upper left corner 
  22. starts. If you solve the quiz quick enough, you can enter your name in the Hall 
  23. of Fame.

  26. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Game-Menu ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  28. There are three Items in the Game-Menu:

  30. New 
  31.  
  32. starts a new quiz. 
  33.  
  34. Hall of Fame 
  35.  
  36. shows you the list if the 5 fastest players. 
  37.  
  38. Quit

  40. quits the game.

  43. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Timelimit ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  45. You can set your own timelimit for the solution. Click the menu Timelimit. 
  46.  
  47. A dialog-window with a slider is opened. You can enter the your timelimit by 
  48. positioning the slider. Under the slider the selected timelimit in minutes is 
  49. displayed. Set the slider to 0 minutes to play without timelimitation.

  51. Hit the OK-button to close the window. If you want to discard your selection 
  52. hit the Cancel-button.

  55. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. Cheat-Menu ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  57. You can choose between the following menu-items:

  59. rebuild Row 
  60.  
  61. If you did a mistake, you can rebuild a row of buttons.

  63. give Symbol

  65. give Digit 
  66.  
  67. If you did'nt find any further digit, you can get a hint by selecting these 
  68. menuitems. I am sorry to increase your time by 3 minutes.

  72. The solution is shown. You cannot enter any more digits and your are not 
  73. allowed to enter the Hall of Fame.
